Help

Times are uncertain at the moment and even during this time of turmoil, it is comforting to see people reaching out to support each other. I hope you are all staying safe and following all the guidelines set out.

Today, I want to ask for your support. Next week, I will be offering a FREE download of Don’t Feed the Cat book on Amazon Kindle, to support the families that need some additional support in dealing with uncertainty. I need your help to spread the word as far and wide as we can.

Take a look at my new website, with the FREE downloads to use with your children, subscribe and share with your friends and family: https://www.sarastevens.co.uk/

Mental health issues are inevitably going to be impacted during the COVID-19 lockdown for adults and children too. Which is why I want to make sure as many people as possible have access to support. I am launching a new website this week for parents and teachers, with an ever growing resource library of practical tools to help children take control of their worries. Once the social distancing ends and schools reopen, I will be again working with schools across the country to deliver workshops on how to support children grow their confidence, resilience and deal with anxiety. During the time where we need to maintain social distance, I will be offering online coaching to teachers while they work tirelessly to support the children of key workers and vulnerable children.

For my patients

Sara Stevens Practice COVID-19 Policy

In the light of the uncertainty surrounding the recent outbreak of COVID-19 our priority continues to be your wellbeing and my team and I are here to support you through these difficult times. In this mental health medical practice, we will be doing everything we can to keep our offices open for you. Due to the nature of my single use one to one practice and its setup, social distancing has already been in place and we have enhanced this process. We have increased our already high standards of hygiene and are following medical government guidelines on preventions and deep cleaning in the light of this outbreak.  Automatic bins and a hand dryer are being installed as well as antibacterial products. In between each client we are now using anti-bacterial products to clean the seating areas and door handles.  When clients arrive at the office, everyone is adhering to the new policy of washing their hands and using all the antibacterial products that are available. Clients can also wait outside if they prefer, I can signal them in when the last client has left to enhance minimal social contact even further. Also, for those you who are most vulnerable or would prefer I now able to offer my full session as normal on Skype. However hard this gets and however restricted are movements might have to become I am going to be here to support your mental health in every way I can.  Julie my PA is on hand manning the phones and will help you with Skype setup and also will be there as normal to help you with all your other queries and support needs.

I feel it’s very important to be there for you all in this time of need, so I chose on the 16th of March to only mix with my close family and friends. All other activities like shopping, the gym and any other socialising I stopped carrying out these things myself. I have chosen this as a precautionary measure for you all, as I feel I can best help you and our community by staying healthy and strong, enabling me to support you all in these challenging times. I will continue to enhance these precautions, follow government guidelines and as an added precaution I am now taking my temperature every morning.   I hope that all of these new strategies will help you feel safe in the support and services we are delivering for you.  Let’s work together to stay strong and beat this.

To everyone, stay safe ❤️

Thanks for dropping by,

Sara x
